....A smoother transaction is good, but a transaction that still leaves room for "thank you" is exceptional.

When a Thank You Goes Digital!
Digital payments have made transactions faster and easier. No more waiting in line, no more counting cash, no more worrying about losing it along the way. But somewhere in that convenience, we lost a small tradition: the tip.
A tip has always been more than money. It's a way of saying "thank you, I noticed the effort," whether to the waiter who made your dinner better or the courier who went out of their way. Cash made that easy. Digital payments, until now, didn't really have much of a place for it.
That's exactly what Star Pay, the digital payment platform, is solving with its new Add Tip feature. With Add Tip, customers can now leave a tip right at the end of their digital transaction, no extra steps, no separate app, no awkward "sorry, I don't have cash on me." The feature slots directly into the payment flow customers already use, so showing appreciation takes just a few taps. After completing a payment, users are prompted with a simple option to add a tip. The tip is processed instantly, together with the original payment, so there's no separate transaction to track.
For customers, it means gratitude doesn't have to disappear just because the habit of holding cash is fading. For service workers and small merchants, it means a channel for extra income that digital payments had quietly closed off.
Add Tip is now rolling out across Star Pay's payment flow and will be available wherever Star Pay is accepted.
Technology made payment simpler. Add Tip makes sure it didn't make it colder. A smoother transaction is good, but a transaction that still leaves room for "thank you" is exceptional.
