𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:

StarPay is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across business operations, transaction monitoring, merchant activity analysis, and fintech product performance.

The role focuses on collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting operational and transaction data to generate actionable insights, business reports, dashboards, and risk indicators. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and the ability to monitor transaction patterns, identify suspicious or unorganic merchant behavior, and support financial risk monitoring processes.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

• Collect, organize, and analyze operational, merchant, and transaction data

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business and operational performance reports

• Develop dashboards and data visualizations for management reporting

• Monitor transaction patterns and merchant activity using different monitoring and reporting tools

• Analyze and flag financial risks, suspicious transactions, and inorganic merchant behavior

• Identify irregular transaction trends and support fraud and risk investigation processes

• Monitor key business, operational, and sales KPIs

• Support reconciliation, settlement, and operational reporting activities

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reporting integrity across systems

• Collaborate with operations, compliance, finance, sales, and product teams on reporting and monitoring requirements

• Support management with ad-hoc analysis and strategic reporting requests

• Provide insights and recommendations based on transaction and business data analysis

• Support automation and optimization of reporting and monitoring processes

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Finance, or related fields

• 1–3 years experience in data analysis, reporting, transaction monitoring, or business intelligence roles

• Strong knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, and other business intelligence platforms

• Ability to extract, clean, analyze, and visualize large datasets using SQL and Python

• Experience working with reporting databases, dashboards, and transaction monitoring systems

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization and monitoring tools is an advantage

• Ability to use different monitoring, reporting, and analytics tools

• Understanding of transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and financial risk analysis

• Familiarity with fintech reporting environments, reconciliation systems, and operational analytics tools is an advantage

• Understanding of fintech operations, digital payments, or financial reporting is preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and reporting accuracy

• Ability to identify abnormal transaction patterns and operational anomalies

• Ability to work independently and manage large datasets efficiently
